A case of hacking WhatsApp group of Maharaja College of Delhi University has been sent to 80 students and teachers by giving vulgar videos, photos, and abuses. When the college handed over the case to the Delhi Police, during the investigation, it was revealed that it was done by a girl and her boyfriend. Police have arrested the DU student. Also, the college of the Delhi University has suspended them.

The Principal of the College, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Tiwari said that the English Department has formed a WhatsApp group of BA Honors students. A few days ago on this group, a student wrote that Shivakumar, a college student, is harassing him, while Shivakumar denied the allegations of sending any obscene messages to the DU student over the phone. The Delhi University college immediately started investigating it.

In the meantime, pornographic videos started being sent on WhatsApp of the teachers of the department. After this, threatening calls started coming from Pakistan or US numbers.

The college administration then reported the case to New Ashok Nagar Police. When the Delhi Police questioned the student, the student said that her boyfriend felt bad about a college student who wanted to befriend him, while the student threatened the student who befriended him to prove loyalty.
