DU ADMISSION 2020: STUDENTS UNDER SPORTS QUOTA FACE A LOT OF CRITICISM

The prime reason behind the enrollment of many medalists in DU Sports Quota:

Pankaj Sinha, the Chairperson of DUSC (Delhi University Sports Council) says, “The huge number of state and national level medalists are because of the elimination of trials.” Hence, before 2020, a long and tiresome process of sports trial took place in DU. It went on for long days with multiple trials for admissions. However, this year, students have to simply submit their certificates on the online portal.

The varsity has also offered the students, freedom in selecting the course of their own choice. Hence, all this has encouraged and attracted many national level and state level sportspeople to apply in DU Sports Quota.
