DU has released the special cutoff for admission in the undergraduate courses. Admission against the DU special cutoff will be on 26th and 27th October. Candidates can do the payment against the special cutoff till 29th October. Students who could not apply for admission in the previous three merit lists can take admission now. Many of the colleges have opened the admission in the various colleges.

In the special cutoff, there is an average decline of 0.25% to 1% in most of the colleges. However, in some of the colleges, there is a decline of 2% to 3%. Eligible students can apply for admission in the special cutoff. This year DU cutoffs were extremely high. So,  many students could not make into the University. Till now more than 60,000 students took the admission. After the special cutoff University will release the 4th cutoff on 30th October if seats remain vacant.

ADMISSION UNDER DU SPECIAL CUTOFF

In most of the college’s general category admission are closed in popular courses. However, admission for the reserved category students are still open. Courses that opened admission at 100% are still open for admission for general category students. SRCC most probably will not open admission for general category students.

HERE ARE THE COLLEGES THAT HAVE RELEASED THE SPECIAL CUTOFF

For economics out of 38 colleges, 19 colleges are still open for general category students. In which Miranda house is at 99% and Sri Aurbindo College evening is at 95% with least cutoff. In English Hons. Course, 25 colleges are still open for admission. In which Sri Aurbindo College evening is at 92% and LSR college requires 98.5% for admission. In B.Com 26 colleges are opened for admission.
