The students are suffering difficulties in the open book examination being conducted by the University of Delhi. On Wednesday, a large number of students of the DU SOL at the office of the School of Open Learning with their answer sheets. Students said that they are having problem uploading copies on DU’s Open Book Examination Portal.
Not only this, no one is listening to them, so they have come to the DU SOL office with their trouble to express their displeasure. The students also submitted a memorandum to the SOL administration regarding the problems being faced during the examination. At the same time, regular students are also facing this kind of problem.
The revolutionary youth organization also stated in this regard, saying that in the examination starting from March 15, students are facing problems in downloading question papers and uploading answer sheets. The majority of the millions of students studying in SOL are from the background of marginalized communities who faced problems in the examination.
Nodal officers appointed by SOL also did not pick up the phone at the time of examination. The nodal officers who picked up the phone also aggravated the confusion of the students and blamed the poor internet facility. Students who have reached the SOL office have demanded to issue an e-mail to submit the answer book.
School of Open Learning Special Executive Officer Prof. Umashankar Pandey told that the students are constantly facing problems. So now as many question papers are there, mail IDs will be issued by Thursday morning. So that the students who are having trouble uploading the answer book on the portal, can mail it to the mail id created for the question paper of the subject concerned. SOL administration is going to issue more than 200 mail IDs for this.
