As per officials and hostel in-charges of various college hostels, the allotment procedure will take time. However, other preparations like cleaning and revamping have already begun. The officials at Maharaja Agrasen College, DU, stated that their hostels can’t open on 17th February 2022. So, as per the principal, the hostel was closed for 2 long years and they are working on a “war footing” to prepare. The hostel has an accommodation capacity of 56 students and fresh painting on the walls has already begun. Due attention is also being paid to ventilation and maintaining distance.
