DU REOPENING: OFFLINE CLASSES TO REGULATE AFTER 23 MONTHS

Delhi University is finally going to reopen from February 17 after a gap of around 23 months. In March 2020, all the educational institutes were shut down because of the coronavirus pandemic. Today, the Proctor of Delhi University Professor Rajni Abbi made an official announcement on DU reopening.

A few days back, the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia ordered to reopen all the Delhi schools and colleges. From the next day onwards, Students started to protest to reopen DU as well. They protested against the closure of the varsity when the cases in the national capital are declining.

According to the latest reports, the Proctor of the varsity Rajni Abbi addressed the ABVP activists. ABVP activists were protesting at DU North Campus. Rajni Abbi said that the University will reopen. Moreover, by evening the DU vice-chancellor will release a circular.

Today, the varsity tweeted that that varsity would regulate offline classes from 17th February. DU Proctor Professor Rajni Abbi made an official announcement following a demonstration by students.

However, more details regarding this decision will be on the page once the varsity would release the circular. By today evening, DU vice-chancellor Yogesh Singh would release an official notice. The notice would include all information and guidelines for DU reopening.
