DU Reopening: Many stakeholders are waiting for the University of Delhi to reopen. The varsity has released the Academic Calendar 2021-22. Accordingly, classes for first-year Undergraduate students will begin on 22 November 2021. However, first-year PG students’ classes will begin on 1 December 2021.

Earlier, when students demanded DU reopening. The University’s Vice-Chancellor said that a decision regarding resuming offline classes will be made after the post-festive week.

However, the pleas and strikes went in vain of many stakeholders. As DU officials have clearly said that the varsity will resume physical classes only after the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) allows for colleges for 100% seating capacity.

According to the Academic Calendar for UG students, classes for the first-semester and second-semester students will commence from 22 November 2021 and 7 April 2022 respectively.
