The University of Delhi witnessed a good turnout of students on reopening day 1. Thus, the majority of the students today were from the national capital and the number of outstation students was less. But, the number of outstation students is expected to pick up from the next week. As per reports, the number of 2nd-year students was more on DU reopening day 1.

How many students came back on DU reopening day 1?
Surprisingly, Delhi University witnessed a lot of students coming. Hence, on reopening Day 1, every nook and corner of the college campuses were occupied. All this made the DU college campuses look lively again. As per expectations, the turnout is supposed to pace up after this weekend.
DU reopening day 1: College wise update
Abha Dev Habib, a teacher from Miranda House stated that the enthusiasm of 2nd-year students was good. Hence, they did their practicals which were never possible in online classes. Habib added that the number of 1st-year students was less as they are busy submitting their assignments for internals. Also, their exams are happening in online mode eliminating all pressures of studies. Even the number of 3rd-year students was comparatively less as they are busy preparing for their finals and other entrance exams.
The principal of Kamla Nehru College, Dr. Kalpana Bhakuni said that she didn’t expect such numbers on reopening day 1. Hence, in KNC, students reached at 8:30 am and also attended classes. Also, the principal added that they have kept a lenient timetable for the first week. Even at Maharaja Agrasen College, the turnout on reopening day 1 was promising. Thus, around 70 percent of students came.
The principal of Indraprastha College, Dr. Babli Moitra Saraf said that the view of college today was amazing. Also, she highlighted that they are in constant touch with the outstation students who will take a little more time to come. Hence, by next week more students are definitely joining.
