DU REOPEN: Today, Delhi University has released a notice with the approval of the competent authority regarding the reopening of the colleges. According to the reports, the DU administration is going to call the final year students from 1st February.

Colleges of Delhi University will operate with 100% staff strength from January 1, subject to the condition that national instructions of COVID-19 management at all levels are ensured.

The University has been shut since March 2020 after the nationwide lockdown was imposed. In August, it began the classes for odd semesters in online mode. Now finally DU reopens its colleges in a phased manner.

The university head is going to plan staff timings in this way to avoid section in charge/unit head entry and exit. Accordingly, teachers can be called from 09:00 am to 05:30 pm for doing their duties and from 09:30 am to 06:00 pm.

The DU final year students will be tested in April. Furthermore, where the practical for final year students were 20, those will be reduced to 5 to start the offline academics.
