DU registrations 2021 were likely to begin from July end. However, the dean of admission states that several factors are making it difficult and causing unnecessary delays. Previously, DU registrations 2021 were supposed to start on July 15 that got postponed to July end. Now, even July end seems difficult. The Admission Committee of DU is going to conduct a meeting this week. Thus, the committee will finally decide about DU Registrations 2021.

Mr. Rajeev Gupta, the dean says, “Unless we get dates from the National Testing Agency (NTA), starting the registrations would be difficult.” The National Testing Agency (NTA) is responsible to conduct the DUET, i.e. DU Entrance Test. Thus, it conducts tests for the entrance-based undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Recently, the NTA declared the NEET dates. Hence, it is likely that they would announce the DUET dates soon enough.
Mr. Rajeev Gupta states that a meeting of the admission committee will give clarity over the registration process. He added that their meeting to be held on July 15 is now postponed.
The tentative dates of registration were set hoping that most of the state boards would declare results by then. However, the CBSE, CICSE, and most of the state boards have made some delays. Apart from Board results and NTA dates, the University is also waiting for the final decision on CUCET. Thus, the ministry of education has still not made a final verdict on the fate of CUCET.
The University is not in favor of making any unnecessary delays in the admission process like 2020. Also, they have made sure to carry on the merit-based admissions for all undergraduate admissions.
