The Delhi University, DU PG merit list 2021 for admission to post graduates programs will release soon. The registration process for admission to PG courses will begin once the merit list will be announced. Moreover, the merit list will release on the official website at admission.uod.ac.in
Earlier, the University’s academic calendar 2021 has released the dates for the first-semester postgraduate exams. The exams will conduct from March 30 to April 2022. And, the classes for first-semester postgraduate courses will begin from December 1, 2021. Additionally, classes for the second semester will commence from 6 April next year.
Further, candidates should know that the entrance exam result and the qualifying exam result will be taken into consideration for admission to the DU PG course. The merit list will be made based on the student’s CGPA scores.
According to the DU official, the varsity will consider a candidate’s admission if they clear the entrance. Even the result of their qualifying exam delays. Though, the admission will invalidate in case a candidate is not able to submit their result before the deadline.

DU PG MERIT LIST 2021: RULES TO BREAK TIE
There are some rules for admission when there is a tie in both entrance and merit-based exams.
- Candidates with higher marks in the qualifying exam will come into consideration on the admission list.
- Then, the candidates with a higher percentage in the final year of a bachelor’s degree, then the preceding year, and so on.
- If the tie continues, candidates with higher total marks in five subjects including one language in the 12th class board examination will be considered.
