DU Outstation Students Will Be Given A Week By DRC

Daulat Ram College, DU outstation students will get a time of one week to come back. Therefore, the college has suspended online classes from 17 to 22 February 2022. The decision is taken after considering the huge number of representations from students.

Due to raised concerns by students regarding coming to the national capital. Also, they are finding trouble searching for accommodation in such a short period.

According to the Daulat Ram College Delhi University official order, “Viewing representations from students to the college. The authority decided to provide a week for the relocation of students. During this time, no online class will run. Thereafter, the students can attend classes from 23 February.”

Compensated Classes from March 11 to March 15

The classes which are suspended from 17 to 22 because of DU outstation students will be compensated. Accordingly, the college has released the schedule for it. The compensation classes will conduct from 11 March to 15 March for the first-year students. However, the schedule of compensated classes for second-year third-year year classes is 14 to 19 March. 

DU REOPENING DAY 1: Students Turn Out In Good Numbers

Besides, according to the Covid-19 guidelines, students should get at least one Covid-19 dose. So, to enter and to attend the classes, students need to be vaccinated. Moreover, DRC announces that second dose arrangements will occur in college as well as University. 

Some Colleges Providing Online Classes to DU Outstation Students 

Colleges like Motilal Nehru, Miranda House are providing online classes to first-year students. As their examination is near. Further, Miranda House will try to provide support to outstation students through online materials. Whereas second and third-year students need to attend classes in person.

Earlier, Rajdhani College agreed to provide a class in hybrid mode. But now, the decision has been changed and only offline classes will be conducted.
