The Delhi High Court has expressed discontentment over the tentative date presented by Delhi University for the declaration of DU OBE results. A judiciary bench headed by Justice Hima Kohli asked Delhi University to notify by the next date of hearing what steps were adopted to amend the DU OBE results declaration date.
While hearing the matter, Delhi High Court asked DU to brief it on the next date of hearing regarding the number of answer scripts evaluated and the status of segregation of OBE answer scripts, which were submitted by DU students both via the OBE portal and email. The University is examining the emails for dual submissions of answer scripts by the final year students.
On Wednesday, the University also informed the High Court that around 17 postgraduate final year students who are seeking admissions abroad have registered for DU confidential results and therefore the results of these students will be sent before 29th September to the foreign universities.
Concerning the undergraduate final year students who are seeking admissions abroad, DU informed the court that around 342 students have applied for provisional results and the University has released provisional results of such 157 students. As many as 147 students have provided incomplete data and the University is reaching them out in this regard, said DU, adding that by Thursday provisional results of 43 students will be generated and sent to the foreign Universities.
High Court further informed that 72% of total answer scripts submitted via the OBE portal have been evaluated. Meanwhile, the UGC notified the HC that the DU final year students seeking admission in Indian Universities can seek provisional admission till 30th December.
