Delhi University is going to begin DU OBE for undergraduate and postgraduate students today. The varsity will conduct the open book exams as last year. The COVID-19 pandemic could not let DU hold offline exams.

DU principles and other officials held a meeting on Sunday. They discuss the methodology of evaluation and results declaration. Students have to refer to the varsity-approved material to appear for exams.

DS Rawat is the Dean of Examinations. He said that through this meeting, Delhi University discussed how they will tackle the issues that arise. The dean of examinations wants to begin with the evaluation process on Tuesday.

DU OBE: POINTS TO REMEMBER

Some of the points given below is important for every student appearing for DU OBE :

Firstly, the varsity would hold DU OBE in shifts, i.e. from 9 am to 12 noon and from 2 PM to 5 PM. College officials will hand over the sheets to teachers the next day. Teachers will finish evaluating the sheet within or before the deadline.
Delhi University sent guidelines on Sunday night to all the students whose exams are going to begin today. There are many courses which have less number of students. Their results can be declared early. Rest, all the results would come after three months.

CONFIDENTIAL DU OBE RESULTS IN CASE OF DU OBE

Many students have to pursue their post-graduation abroad. They can be given confidential results by the varsity. July 31 is the last day till DU will release the results. However, if any student needs the result earlier, they can write and give the documentary evidence. The varsity would disclose their results.

Many students will face low internet connectivity and other technical glitches. For them, DU has given the relaxation to submit the scripts beyond a certain limit of time. But students have to attach a piece of documentary evidence also. 60 minutes is the maximum time to be delayed.

MAIL THE ANSWER SHEET IN CASE OF TECHNICAL GLITCHES

If students still face any issues, they can submit the answer sheet via email to the college within 30 minutes.

Delhi University postponed DU exams twice. They were first going to begin on 15th May then 1 June. Finally the exams will begin today, i.e. from 7th June.
