Students of Business Management Studies of Delhi University lamented that they were not able to access even one mock test paper in three days of Phase 1 of the mock tests of the Open Book Examination because there were no question papers uploaded. When they reached out to their teachers they were told that it is a glitch on the university’s end and the teachers are as vulnerable as them.
The students logged in for three successive days — from July 27 to 29 — but there were no mock test papers for them to access. Phase 1 was presumed to help the students get familiarized with the system and help them comprehend how to go about with the exam. But that obviously did not appear for us, said Rohan Kumar, a third-year student of BMS at the Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, DU.
We foresaw at least a former question paper to be uploaded on the portal but nothing was there. We called our teachers and they said that maybe we will get one space on the last day — July 29 – but that did not happen either, he added.
Other pupils who tried to log in also confronted problems over these three days. Harshita Runthla, a student of MSc Statistics at Lady Shri Ram College said that she could not see a test paper either. We had two days slotted for the mock test but when I logged in, I did not discover even one paper on July 7, she added.

DU students against OBE
Ever since the Delhi University has declared that the exams for final year students will be held in OBE mode, students and teachers have been vigorously boycotting the conduction of exams through online mode.
After the failure of the first OBE mock tests, the protests rose and students began to ask the university to discontinue the exams altogether.
Now, the matter of conduction of the DU Open Book Exams 2020 has been moved to the Delhi High Court, and DU has been asked to present their statements on July 31, 2020.
