The Delhi University(DU) has submitted before the Delhi High Court which has facilitated the online portal for the issuance of certificates of digital titles.

A single-judge bench Justice Pratibha M Singh expressed satisfaction and noted his appreciation for the efforts of the officials of the Delhi High Court IT team, Digilocker, and Delhi University to come up with a digital certificate templates degree in a timely way.

The issuance of digital certificates the same degree duly assessed by two officials from the University of Delhi and digitally signed by the qualified authorities of the university will be according to the court’s opinion, meet the goals of the applicant, said the bench so that on the 7th of August.

The High Court heard petitions from doctors, who have passed from various medical colleges in Delhi in 2017 and 2018, seeking issuance of certificates of title to pursue their graduate medical education in the United States.

However, the plea said that the same thing is not issued by the University of Delhi on the grounds that the contract with the printer has run out.

Delhi High Court has directed the university to issue a certificate of digital titles for doctors who graduated from various medical colleges affiliated to Delhi University in 2017 and 2018 by email, on or before August 13, 2020.

Prof. Vinay Gupta (Dean, Examination) and Dr. Sanjeev Singh (Joint Director, DU Computer Center) has assembled the hearing via video conference and submitted that the data of all students who have passed until November 2019 is already accessible with DU.

They also remarked that the university has encouraged the online portal for the issuance of digital certificates in digicerti.du.ac.in degree, where students must register and give their details including their academic qualifications, their college name, etc.

Having the same being completed by students, for students’ digital degree certificate must be issued within a maximum period of one week, after complete verification, etc., they submitted before the High Court.

They also added that all pupils such as requiring their digital certificate for any urgent deadlines, etc., are unrestricted to register on the portal and university officials must ensure that their digital degree certificate granted within one week of registration.
