DU Vice-Chancellor Professor Yogesh Tyagi said,”A committee has unanimously passed the proposal for introduction of course on GST in Commerce stream and a Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber Law.”
Delhi University will soon introduce Cyber Law in its curriculum besides a course on Good and Service Tax (GST). “Students are keen to study about GST which has been implemented across the country since July 1. Cyber Law course will have around 100 students from Science stream,” said committee member Rajesh Jha. India’s top ranking college Miranda House principal Dr Pratibha Jolly welcomed the decision. The attacks on cyber security has increased manifold and to create awareness among the young generation there is a need to include such courses in the curriculum.
