Students who are studying have received the benefit of the DU fee-waiver scheme so far. An official on Friday stated that more than a thousand students belong to poor economic backgrounds. The official counted that 80% of these students have achieved a full release of their fees, with uses worth more than Rs 1 crore.
Delhi University proposed the great DU fee-waiver scheme in November last year. This scheme contains all elements of the fees paid by the students barring those for examination and hostel. Under the FSS appointed by DU, 1,009 students have so far obtained the benefit of about Rs 1 crore.
The Dean of the SWO collected vital data from deserving candidates. Around 1,700 applications were obtained for the scheme for economically weak students. After the due assurance, which collects the home visit of the applicants.

We shortlisted 1,340 students and asked them to submit some documents and tasks. We have obtained the documents of 1,009. All are glad to tell you that the list of students for the distribution of fee waivers is finished, the Dean said.

In line with this allegiance, the university has asserted a financial support scheme that will provide fee waivers to economically weak students. During its centenary celebrations, the FSS is a testament to the university’s devotion to furnishing an inclusive and allowing environment for all students.
Students belonging to financially weak backgrounds can get up to a 100 percent fee release, counting on their family earnings. A full-time bona fide student studying in the university is suitable to apply for it.
