DU EXAMS: OBE REGISTRATION LINK RELEASED BY DELHI UNIVERSITY

DU (Delhi University) has released the OBE (open-book examination) registration link for all the students recently. This link is for the final year/semester students whose exams will be conducted from the 10th of July 2020.

The fresh date-sheet for the OBE was announced by the University on July 3. Earlier, the exams were supposed to begin on 4th July. But at the end of June, a notice came from DU that the exams were postponed for 10 days.

On June 28, DU uploaded a step-by-step guideline for the students of the final year to appear in OBE. There are different registration links for different students.

The students of all undergraduate and postgraduate courses of regular colleges or departments and NCWEB (Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board) can click here to go to the registration portal.

All the students of all the undergraduate and postgraduate courses (regular, SOL, NCWEB) can use this email id to send their scanned images if they are unable to upload it on their portals. The e-mail id is- obescript@exam.du.ac.in

DU EXAMS: OBJECTION BY STUDENTS ON UPLOADING OF ADMIT CARDS ON DU WEBSITE

Since the University has announced online OBE for the students of the terminal year/semester, several protests have been organized by the various students and teacher bodies of the University. All such bodies have said that the conduct of such exams is not inclusive of all its students. There are many students who do not have the proper infrastructure to appear for online exams. Even as the University has released the links to the portals for OBE, these protests continue.

DUTA (Delhi University Teacher’s Association) has demanded complete scrapping of exams for the final year students and their marks should be declared based on past performances and assignments.
