On Monday, the University of Delhi announced holding DU Exams for 3rd, 5th, and 7th-semester students for all UG and PG courses. Hence, the DU Exams will take place from 30th November 2021 in an open book format, i.e. OBE mode. Also, the essential repeaters of the 1st, 3rd, and 5th semesters will be eligible to give the exams.

Here is what the official notice about DU Exams states:

The official notice by the University of Delhi reads, “It is hereby notified for information of all concerned that the exams for 3rd, 5th, and 7th semester/ term students will begin from 30th November. Also, the essential repeaters of 1st, 3rd, and 5th semester and ex-students for all the UG and PG programs will be included. Students from the School of Open Learning (SOL), and the Non-Collegiate Women Education Board (NCWEB) are also a part of it. Hence, this notice was dated Monday, 29th October 2021.

How will DU Exams be held?

The Delhi University semester exams will be conducted in two phases in a day, including Sundays. Also, the exam duration will be three hours each. Also, the final date sheet is likely to be issued by the 1st week of November.

So, the exams will be conducted in a completely online mode. Hence, appearing students can write the DU exams from the place of their convenience or their college/ department in an online mode. Hence, it is up to them and what options they choose in their examination forms.

As for internal assessments, the colleges need to complete them by 14th December 2021. Hence, DU has issued guidelines for its colleges to conduct practicals, vivas, projects, orals, apprenticeships, internships, and more.
