The admit cards for the Open Book Examinations for postgraduate courses have been released by Delhi University today. Open book examination is being conducted by the University for final semester/ term/ year examinations for UG and PG students. The university has opted for the open book examination as a one-time measure for the academic session 2019-2020 by keeping the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation in view.
The online portal for downloading admit cards for PG Courses has been activated. The students can download the admit cards from the University’s official website from today, June 13. Date-sheet for UG and PH examinations was also released by the University recently.
Admit cards can be downloaded from the official website of the University by the students enrolled in PG examinations, except LLB, LLM, and students of School of Open Learning (SOL).

DU EXAMS: AUTHORITIES MAY CONDUCT END SEMESTER EXAMS FOR 1st AND 2nd YEAR STUDENTS NEXT YEAR
A key is needed to be entered by the students to successfully download their admit card. The Examination Branch of the University will provide the key for accessing the link. The key will be provided through SMS and email as per the available records of the same in the exam form filled by the students.
A request must be sent the to EDP Cell of the University to get an admission ticket for the exam, in case if a student is not able to download their admit card.
Some students and teachers, meanwhile, have requested the cancellation of the open book examination online. Several students may face problems regarding the weak or no internet connectivity and limit or no access to a computer system.
As per the official notice released by the Delhi University, all concerned should note that the portal for downloading the admission tickets has been activated and students can download their admit cards by visiting the official website of the Delhi University.
Steps for downloading the admit card:
- Students are required to click on the below link: https://examportal.duresult.in/StudentPortal/Admit_Card/Login.aspx
- Select the respected college and enter the student’s name, roll number, and the admit card key to generate the admit card.
- Download the admit card and take a print out of it.
The registration procedure for admission in Delhi University courses is to begin from June 20 most probably. There will be no trails for sports and Extra-Curricular activities (ECA) due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation.
DU EXAMS: DELHI HIGH COURT DENIED TO INTERVENE, RECOMMENDED VARSITY TO WORK OUT SOLUTION
The Standing Committee in a meeting regarding the admissions decided on Tuesday that registration will be opened between June 20 to July 4 for all the courses. For updating of marks after declaration of results by the Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE, the second window will be opened for registration. The declaration of the results will depend on CBSE. The cut-offs will probably be announced in August.
