This year DU cut-offs are extremely high. Recently, DU has released the first cutoff list for undergraduate admission. In which various courses require merit of 100% for admission and other courses cutoffs are also extremely high. Moreover, admission against the first cutoff will start tomorrow.
The National Students’ Union of India(NSUI) has urged DU Vice-Chancellor(VC) to consider pandemic-related problems faced by the students. Getting admission to Delhi University is way through the much high cutoffs this year. Many of the students get dejected after the first cutoff list.

NSUI DEMANDS FROM THE DU VC
Neeraj Kundan National President of NSUI. He wrote a letter to the DU vice-chancellor. In which he mentioned the problems faced by students during the pandemic. He urged the VC to come up with solutions for those students. So, deserving students can fulfill their dream to study at Delhi University. As this year students got their 12th marks from the internal assessment. Hence, the authority should ensure an admission without being unfair to students.
Afterward, NSUI also conveyed the same to the Admission Committee of DU. They requested on the behalf of students to consider their issues and give them a chance to be a part of DU.
After the first cutoff list, 8 colleges opened the list with 100% for various colleges. Admission to other colleges in popular courses also requires above 97%. Because of which students are worried about their admission. Several educationists questions the board evaluations system after the DU cutoffs at cent percent.
As subsequent merit lists are yet to release. So, students are in anticipation of the next lists to get admission.
