DU CSAS portal: The University of Delhi will launch the DU Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal soon for admission to various undergraduate programs. Moreover, University VC Yogesh Singh has given the confirmation.
DU Vice-Chancellor said all the preparation has been done for launching the portal. So the UG admission process will soon start on it. Earlier, the portal was supposed to launch in the last week of August. But due to delay in result, the launch date extended too.
Besides, UGC instructed all the central universities around the country to take admission based on CUET exam scores. This direction came in March 2022 by the University Grants Commission (UGC). So, this year all the UG admissions of students have been going through CUET exam scores. Further, the Common University Entrance Test CUET has become the second biggest entrance exam in India (over 14 lakh registration noticed).

DU CSAS Portal: How will the admissions take place
The admission by Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) will be done in a total of three phases. Firstly, students have to submit the CSAS 2022 application form. Thereafter, students have to select programs, choose their preferences, allocation of seats and additional details. Then, students have to choose a course or program of their choice.
Furthermore, the admission process second phase will only commence after the CUET UG 2022 result. And the third phase, seats will be allotted to candidates via merit lists.
Recently, in mid-August, the varsity released an official notice. According to the notification, University will begin its application process for new academic session UG admission shortly. Also, it has instructed the candidates to keep their various documents and certifications handy by 31 August 2022.
