The University of Delhi announced that it will conduct the DU convocation ceremony for graduates of 2019-20 on February 27 in a hybrid mode — in-person and virtually. It is notified for information to all concerned that the 97th Annual DU Convocation is scheduled to be held on Saturday, 27 February 2021 from 10.00 a.m. onwards at Multipurpose Hall, Delhi University Sports Stadium Complex, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007. All are notified to visit the University website for further details and updates, read the official notification.
The postgraduate pupils who finished their course in 2019-20 will be awarded degrees along with MPhil and Ph.D. scholars who completed their course the same year.
Meanwhile, Delhi University is planning to reopen. The varsity is going to reopen the campus for just DU final year pupils.
Only those students whose courses demand the lab facilities and other practical work would be coming back to the college campus. But, the varsity has set certain rules and regulations for the students. Not more than 50 percent of students of total strength can come to college.
The college authorities will have adequate arrangements of isolation for students with COVID-19 symptoms. And if the students are found in contact with the infected person, they need have to be in quarantine.
