DU applicants reach the campus with expectations of getting their issues resolved. However, they got no officials in the college campuses who would provide any assistance to them. DU admission procedure is undergoing completely online for the academic year 2020-21. Hence, it is likely that the DU applicants are striving for admissions. Owing to the pandemic situation, the varsity had to opt for this online system which is new and also problematic to some extent.

DU applicants are given a grievance form as a solution:
Online admission procedure 2020 is going on in full swing and the 4th cut-off admissions are already taking place. Hence, the DU applicants reached to their respective colleges to get admissions-related queries solved. However, they were unable to meet the authority or any faculty members. These DU applicants are given a grievance form in which they can explain their problems. Hence, the form will be given to the varsity’s authority to look into the problem.
Problems of the DU aspirants:
Sarita, from Prayagraj, is a physically challenged DU aspirant and had come to the varsity with her queries. Her father, Mr. Ramashray also came along with her. However, her grievance was a significant one as she was denied admissions even after meeting the cut-off percentile criteria.
DU ADMISSION VIA SPORTS AND ECA QUOTA WILL BEGIN SHORTLY
Sarita is a PWD candidate who has an 80 percent aggregate in the best of four. She wants to take admissions in Hindi honors. However, she was unable to secure admissions in the first cut-off list and later was denied admissions in the second list. The college denied her admission without stating the cause even though she secured more marks than the required percentile criteria. Hence, she has not secured a seat in any college and thus, came to DU.
Bilaal, a Delhi local, wanted admissions in English honors at Aurobindo College. However, his application was rejected as he failed to secure the eligibility percentile for the course and college. Hence, he made an application to another college but then his marks were more than required. Hence, he says that the colleges are not accurately calculating his best of four aggregate. Therefore, he has come to the campus with his grievance.

Statement by the varsity for DU applicants :
The administration and the faculty members say that a helpline number has already been set to attend to the grievance. Hence, the DU applicants need not come to the varsity to seek help. The admission branch is constantly replying to the emails and messages from the applicants in time.
