Delhi University has once again seen a high number of applicants in its undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2025-26. According to official data, DU Admissions 2025 recorded more than 3.05 lakh registrations. Of these, around 2.39 lakh students submitted their college and course preferences after CUET results were released on June 17.
This year marks the fourth cycle of DU Admissions 2025 through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The process is managed by the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS), which allows students to choose from a wide range of college-course combinations.
BCom (Hons) Is the Most Preferred Programme Again
Commerce-related courses continued their strong performance in DU Admissions 2025. BCom (Hons) received the highest number of overall preferences. It recorded 19.90 lakh choices across all colleges. It was followed by BCom with 15.26 lakh preferences and BA (Hons) English with 12.23 lakh preferences.
In terms of first-choice selections, BCom (Hons) stood at the top. It received 48,336 first-preference applications, showing a clear lead over BA (Hons) Political Science, which got 15,295. BSc (Hons) Zoology came third with 12,722 first-choice applications.

SRCC Remains the Most Preferred College
Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) continues to top the charts in DU Admissions 2025. The college received 38,795 first-preference applications, making it the most sought-after college. Hindu College came second with 31,901, and Hansraj College followed with 15,902.
