DU special cut-off

DU Admissions 2021 will undergo completely online like last year. Hence, the registration process for DU admissions 2021 has already started on 2nd August and will continue till August 31. Also, the first cutoff will likely be released by the DU colleges between September 7 and September 10. One of the major concerns of the students is how the admission procedure will undergo. Hence, here is the step-by-step explanation of the merit-based admission procedure 2021.

DU admissions 2021: Complete the registration process before the deadline:

It is mandatory for all aspiring students to fill the DU registration form in time. The application forms are out now and the students can go ahead and fill them. Also, they should fill in all the details properly along with the self-attested copies of certificates and mark sheets. Thus, after the registration is successfully done, the applicants will get their registered email id and password. This email id and password are to be used for logging in after the 1st cutoffs are released.

How will the application process undergo after the release of 1st cutoff?

After the release of the 1st cut-off students need to check the cutoffs of all colleges from the official DU website. Also, the students need to calculate their percentage based on the best 4 system and best 3 for BSc courses. The Delhi University will release official guidelines with detailed information about the courses and the subjects required in best 4. Hence, students need to check it, once released.

UG ADMISSION: 7 QUESTIONS ASKED FREQUENTLY BY DU ASPIRANTS

After calculating the best 4 marks, students need to log in to the DU portal, i.e. du.ac.in. Now, they can apply to the college of which they are meeting the cut-off marks. However, as per the online DU admissions 2021, students can only apply for one college in one list. Thus, after the application into a particular college, the aspiring students have to wait for verifications. The college takes a maximum of 24 hours to verify all the documents and mark sheets.

After that, they send a fee link to the students on the portal itself or via email. Hence, they need to pay the annual fee to confirm their admissions to a particular college. It is mandatory that the students download the acknowledgement slip as proof.
