Delhi University Admission for Undergraduate, Post-graduate, and Ph.D. courses have already begun. Students are facing many problems while registering on the portal.
Due to the coronavirus crises, the admission criteria for DU admissions for Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Ph.D. courses would be in online mode. There are many queries and questions to be answered to the students. Students mailed their queries on the helpline suggested by DU. Suman Kumar, a member of the admission branch answered some of the queries told by students.

A DU aspirant going to register for DU admissions asked, “ I have an OBC certificate issued in the year 2019. As per Delhi University instructions for DU admissions, the varsity is accepting only those certificates issued after 31 March 2020. Will the administration cancel his admission? Suman Kumar said that students who do not have certificates issued after 30 March can attach an acknowledgment slip for the same. They can get a new certificate issued before the admission procedure begins. Students have to upload their certificate on the portal before DU admission criteria begins.
Another question asked by a DU aspirant Pradeep Jha asked the branch whether Delhi School of Economics offers any course of economics for Under-Graduation? If yes, how to enroll in any of the Under-Graduation course?
The administration denied and said Delhi School of Economics does not offer a course for Under-Graduation.
One of the DU aspirants wants to pursue B.Ed. He said that he is not able to refer to any details from Delhi University and IGNOU for B.Ed. From where he can get register for B.Ed. course?
In order to enroll for B.Ed. from Delhi University, students have to appear for entrance exams. Students can get the detailed information from the PG portal on the website of Delhi University. For admission in IGNOU, students can refer to their website for further details.
Another question asked for DU admission is when the varsity would release its first cut off? If the situation does not get stable, how will students come to the respective college for admission?
Students can refer to the official website for the latest updates for DU admission. Any latest information related to DU admission or any other issue would be updated on the official website. Students need not to come to college for admission. The admission process would be through online mode for this academic year.
Another important question asked by DU aspirant was related to the sport category. For which category in sports students can get admission?
Students with an appropriate certificate can apply for any sports under the sports category.
