Delhi University began DU admission for undergraduate courses on 2nd August and has recorded more than 1,00,000 students. Now, the admissions for the same would end on 31 August.
Within four days around 1,00,000 students have filled form and DU will grant admission to the students for 70,000 seats only. For postgraduate courses, the number of registration forms recorded till now is 87,912. 12,539 is the total strength of students who registered for MPhil and PhD courses.

OPEN DAY FOR DU ADMISSION
Delhi University also organized an open day so that students can clarify their doubts. They ask the students to be cautious while filling the form. The varsity won’t allow the students to make changes at later stages. So, it said that students must be careful while choosing the categories.

They have enough time to fill the form and every entrance exam has a separate tab. So, students can comfortably fill the courses for which they are eligible and choose the course wisely.
ECA AND SPORTS CATEGORY UNDER ADMISSION
Sanjeev Singh is the director of the Delhi university computer centre. He said that students should be careful enough while choosing ECA and sports categories. The varsity accepts all the boards recognized by University Grants Commission, Education Ministry, and COBSE. Moreover, they will upload the equivalent table on the website.

CALCULATES MARKS FOR DU ADMISSION
The senior faculty member of Delhi University said that students can calculate their marks of theory and practical on the portal. It would be given in the ratio 70:30 and for subjects like drawing the ratio will be reversed. So, marks will be calculated on the portal in the manner students want it to be.
