DU patent course

For admission to any UG course in Delhi University (DU) during the academic session 2021-22, the content of any paper studied in class XII should be similar to the NCERT syllabus. In case the title of the paper does not match with the subjects included in List-A and List-B of DU subjects, students will have to certify the content of that paper.

For this, they will have to have a certificate signed by the principal. For admission to Delhi University, this rule is for students of boards other than CBSE. Through the certificate, students will have to certify that the content of the paper they have studied in class XII is the same as that of the NCERT syllabus.

The race for application for admission to UG courses at Delhi University is going on. To take admission in DU, there is a rule for students of boards other than CBSE to get their syllabus certified. There are two lists of subjects for admission from DU, which are List-A, and List-B.

In List-A we have Languages. Whereas, In List-B we have Elective subjects. On other boards, there are many such papers whose title does not match with DU lists A and B. But the content of that paper is similar to that of the NCERT syllabus.

Students of other boards will have to attach this certificate as well as a copy of the syllabus of the subject studied in class XII. The student will get the certificate certifying that the content of his paper matches with the NCERT syllabus of class XII.

List A (Indian and Foreign Languages):

The list includes 23 Indian languages (Elective and Core), Hindi, English, Urdu, Punjabi, Malayalam, Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Dogri, Gujarati, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Manipuri, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Sanskrit, Includes Santhali, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu. Apart from this, 6 foreign languages in A-2 in this list are included in the elective, and Arabic, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Persian in the core form.

Elective subjects in list B of DU:

Accounts, anthropology, biology-biochemistry-biotechnology, business mathematics, chemistry, civics, commerce, business study, computer science, computer application, informatics, practice, economics, geography, geology, history, home science, legal study, mathematics, philosophy, Logic and Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Statistics.

About two lakh applications in ten days:

The path of admission to one seat in Delhi University in the academic session 2021-22 is becoming difficult. Applicants are giving competition to each other due to good results of class XII. In just ten days, about two lakh registrations have been done under the ongoing application process for admission to UG courses. While there are still 19 days left for the application process to end.

The application window for admission to UG courses at Delhi University was opened on August 2. Since then 1, 96, 399 registrations have been done till Thursday evening. By night, this figure will cross two lakhs. Many such applicants are filling more than one form due to mistakes. For this reason, the number of registrations is increasing. It is being advised by the administration to fill the bar application form carefully. So that the applicant does not have to make more than one application. Whereas 1, 18, 362 for PG courses and 16, 249 for MPhil Ph.D. have been registered.
