Based on YouTube videos, the administration will grant admission to the students in Music and Fine Arts. To evaluate their performance, students have to share the link to their video in the application form. Students who want to enroll in courses like BA Honors Hindustan Music, Carnatic Music, Vocal or Instrumental, Hindustani Music which includes Tabla must have scored at least 45 percent in their class 12th.

Under the changes made in the DU admission process 2021, students have to upload the video on YouTube. It must be for seven minutes. Students do not have to record the video in any studio. They must upload their original presentation only.

The members of the committee will shortlist the video after liking it. Once they will shortlist the video, students have to appear for an online interview. After qualifying for the interview, the varsity will release a list of students and grant admission according to it.
CHANGES IN MUSIC AND FINE ARTS DEPARTMENT UNDER DU ADMISSION PROCESS
Meanwhile, Delhi University will make some changes under the department of Music and Fine Arts in the coming time. Theatre, painting, and sculpture will be a part of the department. The department will train students on the lines of the National School of Drama, NSD.
Moreover, it will offer courses like BA Honors Music, MA Music, and M. Phil Music. Students can also pursue Ph. D. Programmes as well. Delhi University will also provide some diploma courses and short-term courses.
