Hindu College Delhi University is one of the oldest constituent colleges of Delhi University. It was established in 1899. The motto of this college is Music of Truth and the Principal is Dr. Anju Srivastava. Hindu College offers many courses in under-graduation and post-graduation. It offers many courses in science, arts, commerce, and humanities. The Ministry of Science and Technology awarded Hindu college as the ‘Star College’ for its department of Biotechnology.

In 1899, some prominent citizens fighting over the nationalist struggle against the British Raj decided to start a college. They decided so to provide nationalist education to the youth. Hindu College was originally established in the Kinary Bazar of Chandni Chowk. There was no Delhi University at that time. So the college was affiliated by Punjab University. In 1922, when Delhi University came into existence, Hindu College, Ramjas College, and St. Stephen’s College were affiliated to the university.
