Delhi University(DU) admission 2021 is in operation now. University had completed the admission against the third cutoff list. DU admission 2021 is a much hard way for students. As this year University has released extremely high cutoffs than previous years. But this year BA program course is in much demand. BA program course cutoffs for popular subject combinations were also soaring. However, then also students had shown much interest in BA program courses.
Most of the colleges have closed the admission in the popular subject combinations BA program course after the first merit list. LSR has a 97.25% cutoff for the BA program in computer applications and economics in the first list. Then in the third merit list seats got filled for all the categories.

WHY BA PROGRAM IS IN DEMAND?
After the students rush for admission in the BA program course, principals said that it is because of multiple factors. Most importantly this year students could not meet the cutoff for the mainstream courses.

Moreover, many students in the first merit list took admission in BA Program just due to reserving their seats at the University. The principal of Gargi College said that we closed the admission for English-German subject combination in the second merit list. However, we opened it in the third list as students changed their college or course. Then, talking about the advantage of the course is that you can study multiple subjects while pursuing BA Program. Moreover, in masters students can opt for either of the subjects.
Bijaylaxmi Nanda, Principal of Miranda House said that civil services exams are another big reason. She further added that students find BA program subject combinations integrated with the civil services exam syllabus. In recent years students have cracked the competitive exams from the course, she said.
