Venkateshwara College Delhi University was established in the year of 1961, under the auspices of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), Andhra Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh to stimulate the objective of education in New Delhi.
Venkateshwara College is a co-ed college which offers several undergraduate and postgraduate courses with good installations such as a library, bank, Students Societies and Clubs, Conference Hall, computer lab, Girls common room, seminar room, Cafeteria, Reading Room, etc.
About fifty years ago three public sector giants, DR. K.L. Rao, Mrs. Durgabai Deshmukh, and Dr. Anna Rao, transformed his enthusiastic vision into reality in the contour of Sri Venkateswara Mahavidyalaya.
On 20 August 1961, the foundation stone for the construction of a full-blown building on the 15 acres of land provided at Dhaula Kuan, properly and India’s excellent teacher, scholar, and politician, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was maintained. This college is one of the oldest colleges of Delhi University. And completed more than 50 years and pioneering excellence in education.
Venkateshwara College is also known as Venky. The infrastructure is very nice. All essential facilities are given in the Venkateshwara college itself such as mother dairy, canteen, library, etc. The library of the college comprises all sorts of books & magazines that are useful for students.
