The online admission to the University of Delhi will kick start on Monday, starting at 10 am. The applicants are given the entire day on Sunday i.e. 11 October, to go through the cut-off lists of various colleges thoroughly and make a choice accordingly.

The admission procedure to kick start on 12 October 2020.

An open day webinar was organized on Friday by the admission branch of DU. Rajeev Gupta, the dean of the student welfare, restated that the admission procedure was completely online and also that their purpose behind this was to reduce the footfall in the college campus.

Delhi University has been trying to take the admission process online for the past few years. University even tested this idea last year by conducting an online entrance exam. This gave them the confidence that the online admission strategy can be executed this year. Varsity officials have also informed the candidates that they do not visit the colleges as they will not be allowed inside the college campus. All sorts of queries can be raised on the website or via helpline numbers and emails.

Dean of admissions, Shobha Bagai, advised the candidates/ applicants to refrain from traveling to Delhi or to visit the colleges. All the queries and grievances will be addressed in an online mode only.
