Delhi University has begun the registration for admission to the Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB). To get admission to NCWEB, female students are not required to fill a separate form rather the students are required to register on the same UG portal. Students are required to opt for the option of NCWEB which is already there on the portal.
As per the guidelines issued by UGC, there will be an increment of 15% in the seats for NCWEB students. Last year, there was an increment if 10% in the total seats in NCWEB. The more working women take admission to the NCWEB department as the examinations of this department are conducted on weekends. Almost every college of Delhi University conducts the examinations of the NCWEB department. Apart from this, colleges consisting of co-education also conducts examinations of the NCWEB department.

After 3 subsequent cutoffs of regular colleges, the admission for the Non-Collegiate Women Education Board of Delhi University will begin.

Delhi University’s NCWEB administrator Dr. Geeta Bhatt told that after the release of the first three cutoffs of Delhi University the admission process for NCWEB will commence. The University of Delhi is going to organize an online job fair for final year students and are planning strategies to provide better opportunities for the upcoming batch.
Dr. Hansraj Suman the coordinator of NCWEB in Aurobindo College asserted that after the increment of 15% the board will admit 15000 students this year. The Non-collegiate Women Education board comprises only two courses I.e, BA programme and B. Com programme courses.
The women students who wish to take admission in the NCWEB department should be a resident of Delhi and must possess residential proof. As proof students can submit their aadhar card, driving license, or any other proof that states their residential place as Delhi.
