Delhi University ended the admission process on Monday. Every year, lakhs of students register for DU admission. The varsity grants DU admission on merit basis in many subjects.
After scoring remarkable marks in Class 12, students fill the form to get admission in Delhi University. This year the admission process began from June 20. Total number of 5.63 lakh students registered for under-graduation courses. This year the enrolment number is higher than the last three years.
NUMBER OF POST-GRADUATION APPLICATIONS FOR DU ADMISSION
For DU admission, the varsity received major applications from CBSE Board and Delhi Residents. According to the latest information on the official website of Delhi University, the total number of 1,83,674 students applied for post-graduation courses. 34,306 students applied for M.Phil. and Ph.D.
HIGHEST APPLICATIONS FROM CBSE BOARD FOR DU ADMISSION
Delhi University received the highest number of applications from the students of the CBSE Board. It is followed by students of the Haryana Board with 12,272 applications. The varsity received 11,521 applications from students of the CISCE Board. A total number of 1,42,526 students who stay in Delhi applied for admission this year. From Uttar Pradesh, 66,657 students applied and 50,750 applications are from Haryana.

FIRST CUT-OFF FOR UNDERGRADUATE COURSES
Delhi University will soon release the first cut-off. The varsity has decided to release the cut-off on October 12. The correction portal is also open for the students who want to make any changes in their application form. Students can make changes in the application form till October 5. The cut-off list will be high this year.
