Hans Raj College Delhi University was established in 1948 in the memory of Mahatma Hans Raj. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious colleges of Delhi University. It is a co-ed college which offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses to the students. College also offers certificate courses in foreign languages like German, French, and Spanish.

There are more than 5000 students studying in the various courses of the college. The college has built an outstanding infrastructure. It contains a well-stocked prominent library, the department’s library for all subjects, and a book bank for the students. The College has 18 Science laboratories six and Computer Labs. Its sports facilities comprise a vast playground, an Indoor Sports Complex, Playrooms, a lift facility amphitheater, and the only Electronic Shooting Range in the University.
