DU Admission: colleges of Delhi University may announce their first cut-off list in early October. Earlier, the university has finished its registration process for undergraduate courses.

Interestingly, this year about 3,53,918 students have registered for admission in DU. This is about 1 lakh more than last year when 2,58,000 students had registered.

What is the reason for this much DU registration?

More time for registration: Dean Baghai said that this time the admission portal was open for about 10 weeks. Normally it opens for four weeks. This year, with the portal open from 20 June to 31 August, many board students got the opportunity to apply to DU.

Restrictions on going abroad: Due to the epidemic, many foreign universities have decided to do their classes online this year, due to which many students did not go out to study.

If the registration process is stopped, will the cut-off be released soon?

The registration process has stopped, but right now the university will give an ‘edit window’ to the students, in which if the students want to make some changes in their application form then they can. Apart from this, the students whose result did not come till 31 August, they can also take advantage of it.

Some boards are now releasing the results, some students have reviewed the board results. Therefore, we will give the edit window in the last week of September.

When will DUET results be released?

Admissions in some courses of Delhi University are through cut-off. But for admission in many courses, National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET).
DUET is to be held from 6 to 11 September and the results are expected in the first week of October.

If my numbers are within the cut-off, do I have to go to college?

This year Delhi University has made the admission process completely online and students do not have to go to college.
After the cut-off is announced, students can log in to the DU portal and choose the course and college.

How to know if DU admission is confirmed?

After choosing the course and college on the online portal, the application of the student will be sent to the college, which will verify its mark sheet and other information. After this, the student will be given an online link, through which the fee will have to be deposited.
