Delhi University is going to release the cut-off list for DU admission soon. The varsity would soon disclose the date of admission. The cut-off list would be available on the official site of Delhi University www.du.ac.in.
As per the latest updates, it is expected that the first cut-off is going to release either today or tomorrow. Shobha Bagai is the dean of admission to Delhi University. She said that they are waiting for the approval of the authority. They will release the cut-offs either today or tomorrow.
But, as per the reports of Delhi University, the cut-off list will release on October 12.
DU ADMISSION IN DIFFERENT COURSES
The registration process for DU admission closed on 31 August, 2020. Around 5.63 lakh students applied for admission to Delhi University in undergraduate courses. 1.83 lakh students registered for post-graduation courses and 34,000 students applied for admission in M.Phil. or Ph.D. courses. Those students who want to make changes in their application form can do it till October 5.

As per the registration data of students for DU admission this year, around 1,42,526 students are from Delhi, 66,657 students are from Uttar Pradesh and 50,701 students are from Haryana.

REASONS FOR HIGHER APPLICANTS FOR ADMISSION
This year, there are two reasons to depict that the cut-off would increase. First of all, the highest number of applicants applied for admission to Delhi University this year. Second, there are many students who got 95 percent marks in their Board exams.
DU ADMISSION OF ECA CATEGORY ON THE BASIS OF CERTIFICATES
Delhi University decided not to hold any extra-curricular activities. Students holding NCC and NSS certificates will not get admission on that basis. Delhi University declared that students under 12 categories will get admission. The categories include music, dance, yoga, and divinity also. The authority would hold their admission on the basis of certificates.
