Delhi University Online Admissions 2020

Delhi University plans to make the entire admission process online. Which also includes online verification of certificates. Although Delhi University has put the admission process on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic, its admission branch is working toward strengthening the process.

This process was taken in force by the Delhi University to minimize the visits of the student to the colleges in view of the current situation due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Earlier only form submission, selection of course, feel submission among others were online. After the cutoff announced students had to reach the respective colleges within three days for admission and being from other states than Delhi, it was difficult for the students and their parents to reach pillar to pillar in hope of admission to DU colleges. This process will provide relief to both students as well as teachers as now they get admission online without running from here to there.
After the announcement of the cutoff, students have to select a college, choose the course, and submit there scanned documents on the online portal. It will be verified by Delhi University. After the verification, the students have to pay fees online.

Delhi University had executed the first step of 10 percent of expansion in EWS (Economically Weaker Section) seats in 2019-20 and the continuing 15% enhancement will be completed in the 2020-21 academic session, according to the letter.
The varsity has begun to collect information from the colleges as there will be a little time left for preparation after the lockdown ends.

The colleges are directed to constitute a strong admission team for the process for DU Admissions 2020
A team of responsible volunteers and faculty members is formed by the DU colleges. All the volunteers will be available during admission time for the students. They will actively participate and help the students by answering their queries related to admission.
