So, students are asked to wear ‘Angvastras’ with Indian attire. This convocation will be different as no old colonial gowns will be worn by any students, officials, or guests.
Further, the outfit for officials and guests will be made of khadi silk. As per senior officials, the university wishes to adopt an Indian culture-inspired dress code in its 99th convocation. Therefore, this year the change in attire will be noticed.
