The University of Delhi on Saturday announced its fifth cutoff list for admission to various undergraduate courses. The cutoff list is released on the official website of Delhi University I.e., du.ac.in. DU 5th cutoff list is expected to be the last cutoff list of Delhi University. However, the University might release the sixth cutoff list if the seats remained vacant after the fifth cutoff.
Most of the prominent colleges of the University of Delhi have closed the admissions for popular courses including Political Science, Economics, and Sociology under the 5th cutoff list.
Economics Admission closes at LSR under DU 5TH Cutoff
With the release of the fifth cutoff list, popular courses like Economics (Hons) are closed in Lady Shri Ram College, Hansraj College, Hindu College, Daulat Ram, etc. However, the course is still available at Dyal Singh College, Gargi College, Ramjas College, and other DU colleges.
Cutoff for B.Com (Hons.) at Shri Ram College of Commerce stands at 98.12 showing no change from the last cutoff. While at Lady Shri Ram College for Women, B.A. (Hons) English is available at 98% showing a decrement of 0.5%.
As per the schedule provided by the University of Delhi, after the release of the fifth cutoff students are eligible to apply for admissions against the 5th cutoff from 9th November to 11th November.
The number of vacant seats at the University of Delhi for various undergraduate courses was also increased to 69,554 this year from 66,263 earlier. The University will further allow the candidates to change the course or college as per the eligibility criteria. To change one course or college, students will be required to withdraw their admission from the college they have opted and apply at another college as per the merit.

- Click on the link which reads “5th Cut-Off List for admissions to UG Courses (based on merit) for the Academic Yera 2020-21.
- Download the 5th cutoff list and check if you are meeting the cutoff requirements.
