DU 4TH CUT-OFF LIST: MANY POPULAR COURSES TAKEN

The University of Delhi released its 4th cut-off list yesterday, 30th October 2021. The varsity has already released 3 cutoff lists and one special cut-off list. Hence, more than 60,000 seats are already filled in several DU colleges. Thus, with around 7000 available seats, the 4th cut-off list witnesses relatively fewer opportunities available. Most of the popular courses are closed across all Delhi University colleges.

DU 4th cut-off list: College wise status of available courses

For Arts and Commerce courses – Except BA (Hons) Philosophy, Hindu College closed admissions for all courses. Also, the cut-off for this course is pegged at 97.5 percent. Coming to Lady Shri Ram College, a few popular courses are still available. BA (Hons) History and Sociology are available at 98 percent. Also, BA (Hons) Journalism and Psychology are available but at 99 percent even in the 4th cutoff list.

At Miranda House, BA (Hons) History, Economics, and Sociology are available at 99 percent, 98.5 percent, and 98 percent respectively.

For off-campus colleges like Gargi, BA (Hons) Applied Psychology and BA (Hons) Economics is available at 98.25 and 97.75 percent.

For Science Courses under DU 4th cut-off list:

Hansraj College is still offering BSc (Hons) Chemistry and Physics at 96 percent and 98.33 percent respectively. But, Miranda House has closed admissions for science courses in the unreserved category. BSc Statistics is closed at LSR but is available at Kirorimal College at 97.75 percent.

DU FOURTH CUT-OFF LIST: ADMISSION STARTS FROM TOMORROW

Status of admissions:

Over 63,000 admissions have already taken place against the current 70,000 seats. Hence, there is going to be a cut-throat competition for the available 7000 seats. Also, the majority of courses are closed for the unreserved category students.

DU NEW COLLEGES TO BE NAMED AFTER BJP LEADER?

Admissions to the 4th cut-off will begin on 1st November 2021. Hence, eligible candidates can apply then.
