DU 3rd cutoff is releasing today on 24th October 2020. The list will be available by tonight on – du.ac.in. for all the colleges. Admission against the 3rd cutoff will start from 26th October 2020. However, not a lot of courses will be available as seats in popular courses are filled.
3rd Cutoff for Zakir Hussain College:
Zakir Hussain College of Delhi University released its cutoff at around 5:30 p.m. Admissions for a lot of courses are closed. Zoology, History, English, and many other undergraduate courses are unavailable.

DU NCWEB cutoff:
Non- Collegiate Women’s Education Board(NCWEB) released its first cutoff. Students can head on to the DU portal to check the cutoffs.
Colleges closed for 3rd list admissions:
Hindu College has seats filled in almost all the courses. Political Science, Psychology, Mathematics, and many more courses stand closed for admissions.
Miranda House, a popular north campus college has also closed admissions. Hence, the 3rd cutoff for this college will be available for only a few courses.
Computer Science honors and Mathematics honors are also closed at Khalsa College.
MINOR REDUCTION IN 3RD CUT-OFF, SAID PRINCIPALS
3rd Cutoff admissions at Lady Shri Ram(LSR):
LSR had an unexpected high cutoff of 100 percent for Political Science, Economics, and Psychology Honors. However, zero admissions took place in Economics honors. Hence, a marginal drop of 1 percent was witnessed for each course in the 2nd list. Admissions in all the courses for the general category except for Mathematics were observed. Therefore, an estimate of a 1 percent drop in the 3rd list is expected.
DU SENIORS ASSISTING THE NEW ASPIRANTS WITH ADMISSIONS
Seating Update:
82 percent of the DU seats have been filled in the 2nd list. The statistics declared by the varsity say that 35,000 seats were filled in the 1st cutoff and 22,147 seats were filled in the 2nd cutoff. Hence, around 60,000 seats are already filled. Therefore, a lot of courses are closed in the 3rd list as seats are preoccupied in overwhelming numbers.
