DU 2nd cut-off was released yesterday, 9th October 2021. Hence, most of the aspiring candidates had high hopes and were looking forward to this release. But, on the contrary, there is only a marginal drop in the cutoffs as compared to 1st cutoffs. Also, many courses are now closed for admissions as seats are already full.

Table of Contents

Many courses closed admissions in DU 2nd cut-off list:

Hindu College had set the bars high with 100 percent 1st cut-offs for BA (Hons) Political Science. Hence, many students were hoping for the cut-offs to go down slightly in the next list. But, the college has now completely closed admissions to Political Science in the 2nd cutoff. Similarly, BA (Hons) Philosophy, BA (Hons) English, BA (Hons) History, Hindi Hons, Sanskrit Hons, and Sociology Hons are closed at Hindu.

Ramjas College also kept the 1st cut-off for Political Science (Hons) at 100 percent. Even for the 2nd cutoff admissions, there is no alteration or reduction in cutoffs.

Only a little reduction in DU 2nd cut-off:

At Ramjas, the cut-off of BSc (Hons) Physics has come down to 99.33 percent from 100 percent. Similarly, the 2nd cutoff for BA program combinations came down to 99.5 percent from 100 percent. Thus, a few courses have witnessed a reduction somewhat in DU’s 2nd cut-off.

Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) kept its 1st cut-off at 100 percent for both BA (Hons) Economics as well as BCom (Hons). Thus, the students are a bit relieved as the DU 2nd cut-off of these courses dropped to 99.75 and 99.12 percent respectively.

DU SECOND CUT OFF LIST 2021: SEATS VACANT FOR VARIOUS COURSES

As for Sri Guru Tej Bahadur Khalsa, the cut-off for the BCom program was reduced to 98.75 from 100 percent. Hence, this occurred due to zero admissions into this course in 1st cut-off.
