DEAKIN UNIVERSITY & ITT-H COLLAB: A joint doctoral program is being offered by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Hyderabad) in collaboration with Deakin University. As per the institute, the program will be offered in a wide array of subjects including the following:
- materials and smart manufacturing,
- affordable healthcare,
- food,
- environment and agriculture,
- artificial intelligence,
- machine learning,
- data science,
- cyber-physical systems, and
- energy
All those candidates who possess a CnadTech or MTech degree shall be eligible for this doctoral program. Yet, candidates will have to qualify for an interview round. As part of the research requirements, candidates can also spend around 3 to 12 months at Deakin Uni. Ph.D. fellowships will be awarded to these students including their travel expenses to the Deakin University.

A full tuition fee waiver for up to four years shall also be awarded by the University. Certificates will be awarded to the candidate from both the institutes on completion of the program.
