DIGITAL LANGUAGE LABS

To teach and increase the proficiency and command over a language, these labs are a digitally empowered learning environment.

Following comprise the whole solution:

Language software, technology hardware, and lab infrastructure including PCs, workstations, and headphones enabling each student in learning the language at their pace, digitally.

Sharma further shared that delivering proficiency in the communication skills and developing the vocabulary requires animated videos for proper articulation, syllable stress and intonation modulation and integrated activities, speaking practices, and intense listening.

Labs having a capacity to accommodate 30 students at a time will have a 1:30 teacher-student ratio. Other than Rashtrapati Bhawan, a few other KVs across the nation will also get a digital language lab soon.

The process of language learning has been transformed into an interactive, engaging, and immersive one through the learning through digital mediums methodology.

There is an extensive emphasis on collaborative and self-paced learning which develops real-time communication, shares Kiran Dham (CEO, Globus Infocom Limited, the implementing agency of the digital language labs ).

He further adds, animated videos, language proficiency enhancing activities, and integrated functional exercises are included in the content. Teachers will be able to generate reports and track the progress of students through the assessment sheets and assignments.
