All those students who graduated from the University of Delhi until the last year might expect some good news coming their way.  There is a huge number of students from Delhi University who have completed their graduation but have not received their certificates until now. This has stalled their way to many possible opportunities. Some significant steps have been taken by the university currently to ensure that all the students receive their documents at the earliest.

An online news portal has been activated by the Varsity to issue digital degree certificate and also with an aim to speed up the process. It was getting too hard for many of the students to pursue their higher studies without the original degrees and documents. The certificates and the documents ensure the identity and registration of any student hailing from some reputed universities.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the education system of the country is currently much on hold already.

Online classes have also commenced but are not turning out to be much impactful in comparison to the classroom teaching method. Both teachers and students are facing many issues and inconvenience in addition to the physical strain to the body and the eyesight.

This submission by the University of Delhi was made before Justice Pratibha M Singh among various other petitions.

August 15 was assigned as the last date for uploading the degree certificates to be processed to the ‘My ECFMG’ mobile application. It was also clearly stated by the court that all the documents should be sent via e-mails

Authorities of Delhi University were also asked by the court to look into the question and possibility of assigning mark sheets and transcripts of students digitally.
