The application form of District Institution of Education and Training for Delhi is released on 23 July 2020. SCERT handles the admission procedure of DIET Delhi. Eligible participants can go through the admission procedure of DIET Delhi D.EI.Ed.

WHAT IS DIET?

The District Institute of Education and Training sums to and forms DIET. The exam type is at the undergraduate level. It is conducted by different states at the state level. State Council of Education Research and Training is the conducting authority to conduct the DIET exam. Application for DIET Admission will be accepted in online mode. ADMISSION PROCESS AND IMPORTANT DATES

Forms for DIET Admission 2020 is available from 23rd July. Students can fill-up the form by 3 August 2020. The correction portal for forms will be open on 4th and 5th August 2020. Students can make the correction in the application form these days. Ranks of candidates will be displayed on 7th August. The first merit list will be released on 10th August. Candidates can report to the respective institutions from 12 to 17 August. The second merit list will be declared on 19 August. Students can report to the respective institutions on the 19th and 20th August. The third merit list will be declared on 22 August. Students can report from 22 to 25 August in the respective institutes.

Original documents will be verified and fees will be submitted from 26th to 28th August. Candidates who wish to withdraw their admission can do it only from their ID from 26 August to 6 September. Management Quota students will be notified of their admission on 26th August. The session will be commenced on 26th August. Candidates who wish to opt for online counseling can submit their names along with fees from 26th August to 6th September. Students have to submit Rs. 1000 and it will be non-refundable.

Candidates for online counseling will be displayed on 8th September. 1st list of the declaration of candidates for online counseling will be on 10th and 11th September. 2nd list will be declared on 15th and 16th September. The further list will be declared on 18th September. Admission will be closed on 21st September.

HOW TO FILL UP THE APPLICATION FORM?

Students have to fill the application form for which they have to click on the link available on the official website. They have to keep ready all their documents and fill all the necessary information in the application form. They have to upload the necessary documents. After filling up the application form, they need to take a print out of the form filled. After the printout, they have to fill the application fees and submit the filled application form.

Students have to pay Rs. 250 as application fee after filling up the application form. They have to pay fees through debit card, credit card, or net banking.

WHAT IS THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE STUDENTS?

Students who wish to opt for DIET Delhi Admission should have completed the HSC exam from a recognized board or university. They should be below 24 years of age. Students of 17 years of age or above can apply for DIET. Minimum 50 percent marks should be scored by the student belonging to the general category. More than 45 percent score is required for the students of the reserved category. The merit list will be formed on the basis of marks secured in the past qualifying academic session. Students need to check the merit list to get admission. It would be available on the official website.
